What a month! I maintained the challenge even with traveling for three weeks. Some of the prompts I found a bit amusing. For example, all summer Iāve been enjoying fresh cherries. However, when āCherriesā was the prompt, they were all gone! No more fresh cherries! I had to make do with dried cherries and the cherry pitter I bought on Bainbridge Island.
Also, pretty much anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE ice cream. I ate A LOT of it on my trip! By the time, though, that āIce Creamā was the prompt, I was driving home and was – even for me – a bit tired of ice cream. (I knowā¦hard to believe!). Regardless, I popped into the Gilroy Coldstone for my last road trip ice cream.
I could talk about how I deleted the trellis and some of the patio out of the āUneditedā version of my planter to get the āEditedā version. Or how a wrap is my idea of a āHamburger.ā Or the āRingā I made with Greyson when we were in Ireland. Or the āCardsā Astridās daughter Tessa is selling as a Team for Kids fundraiser for her entrance into the New York City Marathon. Or the āCollectionā of magnets I keep in Addie. Or using my 2007 Canon Powershot for āUse a Different Camera.ā
Rather, I want to share about my āInspirational Person.ā This amazing woman is smart, kind, and organized. She is loving and patient with her children and husband, supportive and caring with her friends. Regardless of whatever challenges she faces, she tackles them with humor, perseverance, and grace. As a chosen member of her family (Nana to her children), I am inspired by the warmth, humility, and generosity of Kait. ā¤ļø

Ah I get why you needed the photo now and I feel honored for the theme it was applied to š
š
Handsā¦hands down is my favorite. A is for Sheila? Is she waiting for an Apple? Not sure about that but the photo is heartwarming.
When I was visiting Judi and Lee on Bainbridge Island, Lee chopped garlic as a dinner ingredient. He kindly allowed me to capture his hands. The “A is for…” is Arthur, my grandkids’ dog. I was taking care of them while their parents went away for a long weekend for their fifth anniversary.
