What a wonderful day in this fabulous town!
We started by hiking part of the perimeter trail to a waterfall. Yes, I was in my happy place! A forest trail to a waterfall: perfect!
Later, we wandered around town. Of course, I found an ice cream shop – and indulged later in the day. đ
We also enjoyed soaking in the hot springs. The city has five pools of varying temperatures. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon!
In the evening, we played BINGO at the Ouray Elks! There were over 100 people playing! So much fun, even if I didn’t win any of the ten games we played.

Spent quite a few days in Ouray and Telluride with the Jeep club …we got there using the trail over Big Bear Pass… quite a few hairpin & “Y” curves…
There were so many jeeps and 4WD vehicles all over Ouray!
Loved Ouray during a road trip to the Southwest in 1998 during the kids’ spring break! Also went to Bryce, 4 Corners, Durango…you are bringing back memories! Thanks for sharing…
